When the control board fails completely, the washer will cease all operations, and the board will need to be replaced. Beginning at the central control area, remove the faceplate or label area of the controls. It may be necessary to remove the trim before this is possible. Using a screwdriver, remove any anchor screws from the perimeter area of the control assembly. The circuit board will be directly on the rear face of the control assembly and is connected to a wiring harness. Remove the wiring harness and connect the new component.
