This door handle set is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on Frigidaire refrigerators. There are two handles in the set, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. Regular everyday use can, over time, cause the door handles to crack or break and fall off the refrigerator. If the door handle falls off, opening the door can be difficult. A broken door handle can be dangerous. Sharp plastic edges can cause cuts. If a door handle is broken or missing, it should be replaced. Disconnect the power from the refrigerator. A Phillips head screwdriver and included hex wrench are needed for this repair. If there are parts left from the broken door handle, remove those with the screwdriver. Set the screws aside for use on the new handle. Line the door handle holes up with the holes on the door face; the top of the handle slides over the door and screws in from the top edge. Plug the refrigerator back into the outlet.
