  • Remember - Filter must be equal to or greater than duct work
  • Remember - CFM allowed by filter must be equal to or greater than the capacity of system
  • Remember - As the filter collects contaminants the pressure drop increases. This media filter is not recommended where the pressure drop is critical.

Transitions:

  • In most cases a transition will need to be made for the application of the filter
  • When the air duct does not fit the air cleaner opening a gradual transition is recommended to reduce air turbulence
  • DO NOT reduce duct work to fit a smaller air cleaner
