The Mitsubishi Deluxe Wired Remote Controller w/Interface supports the A2L refrigerant leakage detection system and requires the following operation settings to be set. Main/Sub: Works as a remote controller and as a refrigerant leakage alarm for an indoor unit. Supervisor: Monitors the refrigerant leakage in the refrigerant system in which this remote controller is connected. This function is assumed to be used at a monitoring site, and air conditioning units are not operable from the supervisor remote controller.

New features of the PAR-42MAAUB include:

• New Remote Controller “Supervise Mode”
  • The new Supervise Mode allows the PAR-42MAAUB Remote Controller to monitor a single outdoor unit refrigerant system for refrigerant leaks. The controller can monitor the indoor units' refrigerant leak error codes but cannot control the indoor units.
  • When a refrigerant leak is detected by any indoor unit's leak sensor, the remote controller will display a blinking screen and the indoor unit will sound an audible alarm, displaying an error message.
  • The remote controller’s Supervise Mode will only display error codes related to the refrigerant leak sensor, refrigerant leak detection, and remote controller. No other categories of error codes will be displayed.
• Refrigerant Leak Alarms
  • The PAR-42MAAUB can display refrigerant leak detection alarms for indoor units equipped with refrigerant leak sensors within their group.
  • The PAR-42MAAUB will blink, sound an audible alarm and display the error code for the connected indoor unit(s) within the group.
• PAR-30MAOA Replacement
  • The PAR-42MAAUB will also replace the PAR-30MAOA remote controller for PEFY-OA indoor units. Choose the PAR-42MAUUB for future projects that need a remote controller for the PEFY-OA indoor units
