This 36,000 BTU multi-room heat pump is part of Mitsubishi's advanced M-Series and serves as the direct, eco-friendly upgrade to legacy models, engineered specifically to utilize low-GWP R-454B refrigerant. Best of all, you can mix and match the indoor air handler styles as required by your layout. Compatible indoor units can include any combination of the following: Ductless Wall Mounted (GX/FX Series), Horizontal Ducted (PEAD Series), Ceiling Recessed Cassettes (MLZ/SLZ Series), and Floor Standing units (MFZ Series). Mix-matching indoor units offers you a wide range of targeted cooling and heating profiles, allowing you to build the ultimate zoned system to match your home's architecture. Mitsubishi offers indoor styles in a wide range of capacities, making sure the MXZ multi-room system provides the right solution for you. Operation Performance Outdoor Unit:

• Minimum of two Indoor Units must be connected to the MXZ-5D36NL outdoor condenser.
• Maximum of five Indoor Units can be connected to support up to 5 independent zones.
• Minimum installed capacity cannot be less than 12,000 Btu, with a maximum connected capacity of up to 41,000 Btu.
• System features advanced zoning intelligence and can operate with only one indoor Unit turned on.
• Indoor Units can be All Ducted, Non-Ducted, or a Mixed Combination of Ducted and Non-Ducted styles depending on your installation requirements.

SEER2 / Efficiency Ratings Based on Style of Indoor Chosen:

• All Ductless (Non-Ducted): Up to 19.20 SEER2 / 12.0 EER2 / 9.30 HSPF2
• Mixed Configuration: Up to 17.70 SEER2 / 10.40 EER2 / 8.80 HSPF2
