The Latch/Switch Holder (Right Side) is an OEM component specifically designed for GE microwaves. It is responsible for securely mounting the latch and door switch components on the right side of the microwave door.  Symptoms of a bad latch/switch holder include: Loose, unstable, or improperly functioning door latch  Inoperative or faulty door switch preventing the microwave from operating   Physical damage or cracks in the holder plastic Causes can include normal wear over time exposing internal wires, moisture damage compromising electronics or impact damage weakening the holder structure.
