The Fabric Softener Dispenser is an OEM replacement part for GE washers. It is located on the top of the agitator. This dispenser allows for easy addition of fabric softener or other washing aids at the ideal time in the cycle. With a simple twist and pour into the reservoir, it then evenly releases the solution to condition clothes during the final rinse. Causes of a bad dispenser can include cracks or leaks allowing premature discharge into the wash drum. Mineral buildup may also clog the release nozzles.
